Vinohrady Cricket Club

Vinohrady Cricket Club is a club based in Prague in the Czech Republic, with two mens teams that enjoy themselves both on and off the field. We welcome players of all creeds and cultures, ages and abilities while welcoming friends and family with open arms too!

We are a member of the Českomoravský Kriketový Svaz and compete in the Czech Cricket T20 and 40-over leagues that are played in both Prague and Brno. League fixtures and results are available on our play cricket page. Our home ground is at Velvary SF Cricket Ground where we regularly host league games and friendlies. To get our cricket fix during the winter, we also play in the Czech Cricket indoor league in Prague, competing in fast paced 6 a side games.

Training sessions are held every Tuesday night throughout the summer at the outdoor nets at Tennis Center Olšanská, with anyone welcome to come and join us. We are always on the look out for new players so don't hesitate to get in touch, no matter if you're a regular player or rediscovering the game after several years away.

We're also extremely proud to know that one of our members runs Kriketová Akademie or KAČR, a cricket academy in the Czech Republic with a focus on developing the game in the country by getting as many children playing the sport as possible.
